About CHS
CHS houses grades 9-12 with an average enrollment of 250 students, with an average of 91% graduating in 4 years. Traditional period scheduling, 30 hours of College Credit Plus (CCP) courses from Lakeland Community College, Hiram College and The Ohio State University, and a state of the art distance learning classroom all help provide a quality educational experience. In 2017, CHS received a National Ranking of Bronze from the U.S. News & World Report in their Best High Schools rankings. In the most recent graduating class, 28 students took CCP courses earning a total of 386 college credits, 20 students earned 46 AP credits, 57 students took the ACT, and 8,232 hours of community service were completed. The Class of 2017 also earned nearly $400,000 in scholarships for post-secondary education.
