The Cardinal Local School District houses a preschool class at Cardinal Elementary School, that is run by the Educational Service Center (ESC) of the Western Reserve.  The ESC of the Western Reserve offers preschool services to children from all local school districts.  Highly qualified teachers implement a curriculum that is aligned to Ohio’s Early Learning Content Standards and prepares children for success in Kindergarten and beyond.  Teachers utilize developmentally appropriate practices to guide student learning and foster creativity. The framework for the curriculum is the Assessment, Evaluation, and Programming System (AEPS).
