Cardinal Local Schools is excited to launch a new community engagement initiative as part of our District One Plan goal. In collaboration with the Supporters of Cardinal group, we are exploring ways to connect students with members of our community who are willing to share their skills, hobbies, careers, and life experiences.
We believe students can benefit greatly from learning directly from the people in our community. Whether it’s a trade skill, hobby, career experience, or life lesson, these connections can help provide meaningful learning opportunities while strengthening relationships between our schools and the community we serve.
To help us get started, we are asking community members to complete a short survey if they would be interested in:
Demonstrating a hobby or skill
Speaking with students about career experiences
Leading a hands-on activity or workshop
Sharing life lessons that could help guide our students
The information gathered will help us create future workshops, guest speaker opportunities, and hands-on learning experiences for students at Cardinal Jr./Sr. High School.
