At the January 14 regular meeting, the Cardinal Board of Education approved a resolution authorizing two Board of Education employees to possess a deadly weapon on Board property and within designated school safety zones, in accordance with Ohio law and district safety protocols.

Newly elected school board members were officially sworn in last evening during the first board meeting of the new year. We welcome Edna Phile as a new board member and congratulate President Linda Smallwood, Vice President Barb Rayburn, and Ruth Natali, who also took the oath last night.
