Kindergarten Orientation will be on Monday, August 25, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Kindergarten students will meet their teacher, bring their supplies, and take part in activities to get ready for school.
We would also like to invite you to Cardinal Elementary School's Open House on Tuesday, August 26th, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for students in grades 1-6. During this time, students may drop off their school supplies in their homeroom classrooms. Teachers will be available to meet with families from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Thanks to our continued sound fiscal management, Cardinal Local Schools has eliminated all K–12 student fees and Pay-to-Participate fees for grades 7–12 once again this year.

🎶 We’ll kick things off with a parade led by the Cardinal Huskies Marching Band & Silks Flag Line, featuring all fall athletes & student groups.
🎖️ At 11:15 a.m., the Rolling Thunder will hold a Roll Call of the Missing to honor those who never returned home from service—WWI to present day—followed by the unveiling of the Chair of Honor at the 50-yard line. A meaningful tribute and a great way to kick off the school year!
