ORIENTATION DATES:
August 18: 7th Grade Orientation and Locker Set Up - 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
August 18: Freshman Orientation and Locker Set Up - 6:45 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
August 19: 7th-12th Grade Open House - 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
August 25: Kindergarten Orientation - 1:00-2:30 p.m.
August 26: CES Orientation - 2:00 - 3:00 p.m., school supply drop-off extended until 6:00 p.m.
September 3, 4, & 5: Kindergarten Screenings - 10:00 a.m.
September 3: First Day of School
September 19th: Deadline to register for CLS Alumni Night (October 17th football game) *Alumni of the Marching Band and Flag Line*

🎶 We’ll kick things off with a parade led by the Cardinal Huskies Marching Band & Silks Flag Line, featuring all fall athletes & student groups.
🎖️ At 11:15 a.m., the Rolling Thunder will hold a Roll Call of the Missing to honor those who never returned home from service—WWI to present day—followed by the unveiling of the Chair of Honor at the 50-yard line. A meaningful tribute and a great way to kick off the school year!

Today was all about learning how to stay safe in everyday situations!
Our Safety Town kids explored gun safety, poison prevention, and water safety — gaining valuable knowledge through hands-on activities and guided discussions. 🧠👏
These important lessons help empower our young learners to make smart choices and stay safe at home and in the community.
