
Over the weekend, several 5th Grade students participated in the problem solving tournament at Garrettsville Local Schools where they competed against other local schools. 🔢
This contest is sponsored by GCCTM (Greater Cleveland Council of Teachers Mathematics). Both teams earned blue ribbons!




John L. created his best replica of a saxophone while posing with T-Flo. John marched with the Marching Band this fall and currently plays with the High School concert band 🎷🐾

March 4th - Wear STRIPES! We will be reading "A Bad Case of the Stripes by David Shannon."
March 5th - Wear a HAT! We will be reading "Caps for Sale" by Esphyr Slobodkina and/or "The Magician’s Hat" by Malcolm Mitchell.
March 6th - Be part of our crayon box and wear the COLOR of your grade. (Preschool=orange, Kindergarten=red, First=yellow, second=blue, third=green, fourth=purple). We will be reading "The Day the Crayons Quit" by Drew Daywalt.
March 7th - Dress up as your favorite book CHARACTER! We will be reading "My Favorite Book in the Whole Wide World" by Malcolm Mitchell or your teacher's favorite book.
March 8th - PAJAMA Day! We will be reading "Ira Sleeps Over" by Bernard Waber and/or "Good Night Moon" by Margaret Wise Brown and "Llama Llama Red Pajama" by Anna Dewdney.


Students designed roller-coasters to present for Wild Adventure Theme Park board of directors (classmates) on a ride that would bring thrill and excitement to their park. The ride must include a secondary hill, a loop, and a curve. They also must present on newton's laws of motion and other physics components affect or enhance their ride.

For the first time, Cardinal Middle School will be hosting an Art Show on April 11th. This event will run from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Middle School Art Room and Hallways!
While you enjoy some great art created by our students, you can listen to the CHS Jazz Band as well!
