As we wrap up another month, there are several exciting updates and news to share with our Cardinal Local Schools community.
At the September 11th Board of Education regular meeting, the board approved the proposal of a career based intervention program and/or work-based learning program with The HC Companies of Middlefield. Students who are of at least the age of 14 years of age in compliance with applicable laws and regulations will be approved to participate in a two-phase program beginning in late October. Thanks to our sound fiscal management, Cardinal Local Schools has eliminated both K-12 student fees and Pay-to-Participate fees for grades 7-12.
As these fees have been eliminated we also hope this will allow our students' participation to increase in all extra curricular activities. The District's continued efforts and attention to district right-sizing and financial oversight will hopefully allow us to continue providing these opportunities in 2025 and beyond!
