🐖🌾 From the Great Geauga County Fair to our Cardinal cafeterias! 🌾🐖
This past weekend, Cardinal Local Schools purchased two hogs at the Great Geauga County Fair! Our Huskie student sellers were Megan and Morgan Csontos, who are both very active in 4-H! 🐷❤️
Our new Nutrition Services Director, Jennifer Bujak-Hirsch, worked closely with the Fair Board to ensure a blind-bid process was conducted on behalf of the district.
We are so excited to bring this Farm-to-School experience full circle and see these hogs served in our cafeterias during multiple Farm-to-School days! From our local fairgrounds to our school hallways, we’re proud to support our students, families, and local agricultural community. 🌱🏫
