"Fun Friday Activities" in Ms. Stotts’ Science Classes -
Fun Fridays allow the students to learn more about Science concepts while building community and relationships and having fun together! 🧪🐾
The activities either add to students’ knowledge base for future topics, or reinforce current concepts.
Activities pictured below provide experience with gas laws, chemical reactions, and Newton’s Laws of Motion along with reinforcing safe lab practices.

📢 Reminder: Our School Board meeting is happening tonight! Join us at 6:30 p.m. at the Cardinal Board Office to stay informed and participate in discussions about our district's future. Everyone is welcome!


There will be another opportunity for students to travel to Costa Rica in 2026. If your 7-12 grade student is interested, please feel free to attend a parent meeting tonight, for full details. Mr. and Mrs. Clutter will meet in the CHS Room 4B (Bio Room) at 7:30 p.m.
Cost is about half of what you would expect to pay to travel on your own. There is a $200 discount until September 31st.

Today is National Read a Book Day! 📚
As a district, we encourage everyone to take some time to enjoy a good book. Whether it's exploring a new story, revisiting an old favorite, or reading together as a family, today is the perfect day to celebrate the joy of reading. Let’s continue to foster a love for books in our students and community! Happy reading!

Homecoming will be for 9-12th Grade students only. The dance will be held in the Jr./Sr. High School Gymnasium from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14th.
Ticket prices are $25.00 a piece beginning September 3rd. Tickets will be sold during lunch periods in the cafeteria and before/after 2nd Period in Miss Moon's classroom for Auburn seniors only.
Before the Homecoming game and dance, student council has created a Spirit Week for students and staff to participate in!
Monday: Bring your own candy sack (Anything but a Backpack Day)
Tuesday: Jolly vs Rancher (Hippie vs Country Day)
Wednesday: Double Bubble (Twin Day)
Thursday: Rolo out of Bed (PJ Day)

Briar Hill Nursing Home - the nursing home in Middlefield is looking for High School students who would be interested in reading or playing a musical instrument to the residents of the nursing home. This would be an after school activity that would help they earn hours towards their graduation requirements. If anyone is interested, please contact Charlene at (440)-632-5241.
