Parents of 8th Grade Students:
At our informational meeting in March about the upcoming 8th grade trip in May, we discussed you being able to start sending in payments on April 9th. We are going to put that on hold until April 15th. The reason being is that we are still waiting on some possible sources of funding which could bring down the cost. Some of you mentioned at the meeting that you may have some companies or individuals that may want to financially support the trip. If that is the case, please have them reach out to Mr. Gerycz, Principal at CMS, ASAP at paul.gerycz@cardinalschools.org. Another communication with the final cost of the trip will be sent home by the end of next week.

Recently, 1st Graders at Jordak Elementary did a science experiment with Mr. Z (Claire Zurbuch) in the science lab.
The experiment was on the pendulum. The students tested to see if it was the weight of the swinging object or the length of the swinging string that controlled the number of swings per minute. They found out that the length was the major factor.
They loved doing the experiment and learned a lot.
