
Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year will begin TOMORROW and continue through March 15 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. @ the Cardinal Board of Education Office.
As a reminder, your kindergarten student must be 5 years of age on or before August 1, 2024.

A reminder to all staff, students, and their families, on Friday March 15, 2024 there will be an early release schedule in place. Friday marks the end of the 3rd Quarter.
Students will be released two hours early.
CMS - 12:20 p.m.
CHS - 12:28 p.m.

Parents of 8th Graders,
There will be a meeting on Thursday, March 14th at 7:15pm to discuss the 8th grade trip. This meeting will take place in the Cardinal Middle School cafeteria.

Earlier this week members of the administration team toured one of the many Cardinal Corporate Collaborative (CCC) partners at HC Companies located right in Middlefield!
The CCC is an opportunity for local businesses to collaborate with Cardinal Local Schools.

Students in Spanish I prepped and mixed various vegetables to make gazpacho yesterday afternoon. This entrée is a cold soup and drink made of raw, blended vegetables that is widely eaten in Spain and Portugal. 🍜

Over the weekend, several 5th Grade students participated in the problem solving tournament at Garrettsville Local Schools where they competed against other local schools. 🔢
This contest is sponsored by GCCTM (Greater Cleveland Council of Teachers Mathematics). Both teams earned blue ribbons!




John L. created his best replica of a saxophone while posing with T-Flo. John marched with the Marching Band this fall and currently plays with the High School concert band 🎷🐾

Join our Jordak Huskie Pups as they participate in Read Across America Week from March 4th - 8th. 🤓📚
March 4th - Wear STRIPES! We will be reading "A Bad Case of the Stripes by David Shannon."
March 5th - Wear a HAT! We will be reading "Caps for Sale" by Esphyr Slobodkina and/or "The Magician’s Hat" by Malcolm Mitchell.
March 6th - Be part of our crayon box and wear the COLOR of your grade. (Preschool=orange, Kindergarten=red, First=yellow, second=blue, third=green, fourth=purple). We will be reading "The Day the Crayons Quit" by Drew Daywalt.
March 7th - Dress up as your favorite book CHARACTER! We will be reading "My Favorite Book in the Whole Wide World" by Malcolm Mitchell or your teacher's favorite book.
March 8th - PAJAMA Day! We will be reading "Ira Sleeps Over" by Bernard Waber and/or "Good Night Moon" by Margaret Wise Brown and "Llama Llama Red Pajama" by Anna Dewdney.


Students designed roller-coasters to present for Wild Adventure Theme Park board of directors (classmates) on a ride that would bring thrill and excitement to their park. The ride must include a secondary hill, a loop, and a curve. They also must present on newton's laws of motion and other physics components affect or enhance their ride.
