We wanted to say thank you one more time and spread this exciting news to all families and community members! As many of you may have already seen or heard, during Wednesday, December 13th regular Board of Education meeting, the Board of Education accepted and approved the donation from the Cardinal Athletic Boosters from the Preston Sports Raffle fundraiser that took place this year. With this donation and the willingness of the Board of Education to cover the remaining fees and expenses, Cardinal Local Schools is announcing the elimination of all 7th - 12th grade extra curricular pay-to-participate and student fees for the 2024-2025 academic year. We wanted to say many thanks to Pat Preston for the donation of the truck, to our Cardinal Athletic Boosters for the countless hours of promoting and selling tickets along with the rest of the fundraisers they have conducted to make this goal a reality. This has been a long-term goal for the Board of Education and all Cardinal Local supporters. We hope this will help ease the financial burdens of an ever-changing time for our Huskie families. As these fees have been eliminated we also hope this will allow our students' participation to increase in all extra curricular activities. The District's continued efforts and attention to district right-sizing and financial oversight will hopefully allow us to continue providing these opportunities in 2025 and beyond. A reminder that current Winter and remaining Spring 2024 extracurricular activities will require the normal pay to participate fees that were set for the current academic year. #WeAreThePACK 🐾❤

These hashtags are for students who showed the above characteristics throughout the month of November! Finding out what works and what doesn’t work in Mrs. Robinson's Science Class... Students experimented with what technique failed and what technique worked in regards to making bubbles. This experiment was a great comparison to life. Sometimes someone may burst your bubble but find out what works, who to trust, and keep blowing my mind with your success! 🫧💙 #WeAreThePACK 🐾❤
