To our amazing speech pathologists, Melissa Butler and Jennie Tate: Thank you for your unwavering commitment, compassion, and passion for helping our students succeed. Your impact reaches far beyond words, and we are truly grateful for everything you do.

Students in second grade were given three wooden frames and then different colored blocks to form their own food pyramid. The first three blocks were represented as plants. The next several blocks represented animals that feed on plants. And the top block represented an animal that feeds on other animals that first feeds on plants. This entire activity relates to the DVD that was played for the students before they began making their food pyramids.
