8th Grade Trip Information: After securing the donations that we have for the 8th grade overnight trip, the final cost per student has dropped from $353 to $130 per student. You may start sending in payment and permission slips as early as Monday, April 15th. Those can be turned into the main office to Mrs. Hickox. If you need to pay in a couple of installments, that is fine. Please make checks payable to Cardinal Local Schools. If you want to pay in cash, it must be the exact amount of $130 as we will not have the ability to make change. Thank you!

Happy Student Athlete Day!
Parents of 8th Grade Students: At our informational meeting in March about the upcoming 8th grade trip in May, we discussed you being able to start sending in payments on April 9th. We are going to put that on hold until April 15th. The reason being is that we are still waiting on some possible sources of funding which could bring down the cost. Some of you mentioned at the meeting that you may have some companies or individuals that may want to financially support the trip. If that is the case, please have them reach out to Mr. Gerycz, Principal at CMS, ASAP at paul.gerycz@cardinalschools.org. Another communication with the final cost of the trip will be sent home by the end of next week.

Recently, 1st Graders at Jordak Elementary did a science experiment with Mr. Z (Claire Zurbuch) in the science lab. The experiment was on the pendulum. The students tested to see if it was the weight of the swinging object or the length of the swinging string that controlled the number of swings per minute. They found out that the length was the major factor. They loved doing the experiment and learned a lot.
