Students in the first grade created and presented posters and presentations on The Rain Forest. Parents and guests were welcomed to attend for a quick walk-through of the hard work that was completed 🐍🦜🐸 #WeAreThePACK 🐾❤

To celebrate Music in Our Schools month, the AJ Jordak 3rd graders took a trip to Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio, last week.The class saw the musical Rosie Revere, Engineer & Friends. This fun musical is based on the books Rosie Revere, Engineer; Iggy Peck, Architect; and Ada Twist, Scientist by Andrea Beaty, which spotlight the STEM curriculum focusing on science, technology, engineering, and math. Pictured below are the 3rd graders inside the historic Mimi Theater.

Thank you to Ohio Means Jobs for participating in mock interviews for our juniors and seniors earlier this morning. Learning and practicing interview skills is an important lesson to learn before interviewing for a job.

A reminder to all staff, students, and their families, on Friday, there will be an early release schedule in place. Friday marks the end of the 3rd Quarter. Students will be released two hours early. The buildings will be released at these times, CMS - 12:20 p.m. CHS - 12:28 p.m. JES - 1:15 p.m.

Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year will begin TOMORROW and continue through March 15 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. @ the Cardinal Board of Education Office. As a reminder, your kindergarten student must be 5 years of age on or before August 1, 2024. Registration packets are available online or at the JES + BOE offices: https://www.cardinalschools.org/page/student-enrollment Reminder, registration is done by appointment, so please call 440-362-0261 (ext. 2000) to make your student's appointment. (All incoming students MUST attend for a screening with a K teacher)

Earlier this week members of the administration team toured one of the many Cardinal Corporate Collaborative (CCC) partners at HC Companies located right in Middlefield! The CCC is an opportunity for local businesses to collaborate with Cardinal Local Schools.

Students in Spanish I prepped and mixed various vegetables to make gazpacho yesterday afternoon. This entrée is a cold soup and drink made of raw, blended vegetables that is widely eaten in Spain and Portugal. 🍜 #WeAreThePACK 🐾❤
